DESCRIPTION

The so called hidden job market represents clearly 80% of all available jobs. This workshop will make you understand what the hidden job market implies and how you can use it to your utmost advantage in order to get your dream job. The workshop is both theoretical and practical – It shows you what to do to in order to:
• identify and determine a clear and precise job objective
• structure your introductory sales pitch
• identify and involve your personal contacts
• build a more complete personal contact network
• approach potential employers that you have chosen and structure your approach
• appreciate the importance of cold calls and practise the technique

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Clients of the Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi or of the 35 + Employment Services

GOALS

• To make participants realize the importance of the hidden job market in job search
• To teach the participant on how to go about exploiting  the hidden job market to his/her advantage
• To let the participant actually practise cold calling and how to go about approaching the hidden job market
