Hours: 3-6 h/week
Opening hours: Flexible (Monday & Wednesday)

General description:
The CJE NDG is looking for an English tutor capable of teaching basic literacy skills to adults (aged 16-35). The tutor will provide individual or small group tuition (up to 4 students). Candidates must be able to adapt to different learning styles and be creative in their teaching methods.
Responsibilities:
- Contact the program coordinator
- Participate in the development of the pedagogical plan
- Implement the pedagogical plan independently
- Teaching reading, writing, spelling and theory
- Adapt to individual needs and learning styles
- Apply creative teaching methods
Qualifications/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of the education system
- Experience with marginalized youth
- Ability to work in a community setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
