The NDG Snow Brigade is an intergenerational project funded by the city of Montreal & carried out by the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi & its incredible young volunteers. The brigade does not merely shovel snow off the property of vulnerable older adults for free, although that in itself is great ! The brigade is there to help them by protecting them from falling on ice, enabling them to leave their homes for appointments & by breaking social isolation, as they are always ready to smile & connect.

Montreal for Entrepreneurship, is a program that was developed in 2013 with the financial support of many partners, including Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec and The Goethe Institut of Montreal. 

This program aims to promote exploration and kick start the entrepreneurial potential of young adults who want to start a business through an approach based on coaching, co-development and international exchange, particularly in Germany. So far 7 groups have participated in this program.

REP NDG was a project created jointly by the CJE NDG, the WORD project and the Table de concertation jeunesse NDG, as part of the 375th anniversary celebrations in Montreal. With the support of the Borough of CDN-NDG and the City of Montreal, we produced a music video featuring community leaders and the talents of NDG residents, both young and old. The aim was to make the voices of individuals who usually do not have access to a public platform heard, and to give young people a chance to get involved in something meaningful. The legacy left by this project can be found in the REP NDG Gallery, located in our offices at 6380, Sherbrooke West.
