“Notre diversité gagnante” project

Offered in partnership by Bienvenue NDG and CJE NDG as well as funded by the City of Montreal and the MTESS, the Notre Diversité Gagnante project meets the needs of job seekers ready to enter the labor market. It helps identify opportunities that match their skills and connect them with employers for placement purposes to get a job. A professional profile and skills assessment will be made for each job seeker to then determine the type of job sought.

The project’s objectives:

Identify the needs of participants allowing them to enter the labor market

Presenter of Quebec culture and labor standards to participants

Develop the skills required for the job market

Support participants in their job search

Several workshops will be given to the participants of the project by video-conference:

  1. Professional profile and skills assessment
  2. Presentation and interview
  3. Curriculum vitae and cover letter
  4. Labor standards
  5. Hidden job market
  6. Personalized action plan
  7. Work culture in Quebec
  8. Computer skills
  9. French keywords at work

Following this series of workshops, project participants will be put in contact with employers. Networking activities, happy hours, presentations, etc. will be organized to promote matching between the needs of employers and job seekers in the project.

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION:

Be a resident of the Notre-Dame de Grâce district

Be over 16 years old

Be looking for a general job

Basic knowledge of French and / or English
