“Volunteers can come up with their own ideas to our Project Development Officer or participate in already established projects.”

We implement projects that promote civic engagement for young people in our neighbourhood. Volunteering is a great way to reinvest in the community by putting your skills to work for your fellow citizens. Volunteers can bring their own ideas to our project development officer or participate in projects that are already in motion.

Here are two examples of projects:

The CJE NDG community garden is a space that creates unity and addresses the subjects of the environment and nutrition throughout the entire gardening season. This project gives the volunteer the opportunity to build his/her skills in event planning and marketing.

Four young entrepreneurs organized entrepreneurship workshops for other young entrepreneurs in the neighbourhood to fill a need that was otherwise lacking in NDG.
