This morning, the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse launched its annual Prix Droits et Libertés, under the theme « Migration: weaving links, building bridges».».
The call for applications is being launched to coincide with World Refugee Day on June 20. Applications can be submitted online via the Commission's website until July 31, 2023 : www.cdpdj.qc.ca/pdl.
The award seeks to recognize innovative initiatives in welcoming, integrating and including immigrants, initiatives that promote living together and positive discourse around immigration, and that highlight the contributions of people from immigrant backgrounds to Quebec society.
