Nasri Mazloum

Nasri was born in Montreal but grew up in Aleppo, Syria where he played professional tennis (ITF) and was part of the Syrian national team. In 2009, he permanently moved back to Montreal and completed an undergraduate degree at Concordia University in Commerce (double major in Finance and Accounting) graduating with distinction. Integrating the job market was a particularly challenging experience for Nasri, hence his desire to be involved with CJE-NDG.
Nasri worked in taxation and audit for Deloitte during his time at Concordia. He went on to graduate from McGill University with a graduate certificate in Professional Accounting and passed the CPA exam of the Quebec Order of CPAs and is now a chartered professional accountant. Moreover, Nasri successfully completed the Charter Financial Analyst Designation (CFA) in 2019. Nasri is currently a manager in the KPMG Corporate Finance practice working on various transaction related mandates (mergers and acquisitions and financing). Prior to KPMG Nasri spent 2 years at Richter in Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency consulting for companies with liquidity problems.
