To promote entrepreneurship as a career choice, the CJE NDG is offering an introductory day to entrepreneurship for local high school students. Over the course of the day, participants will be challenged to build a business idea in just a few hours, in order to explore this career option. Participants will have 8 hours to work as a team to develop a product, a business name, establish their target clientele, market their product and finally make a pitch at the end of the day to evaluate their idea.
To ensure that teams have as much time as possible to develop their ideas, they will be entitled to lunch and dinner on site. In addition, all program participants will receive a participation prize and a certificate attesting to their involvement in the program.
To register, you must be between 13 and 17 years of age. Either attend a school in NDG, Montreal West, Cote-St-Luc or Hampstead, or live in one of these neighborhoods. Here's the registration form. Please note that registration closes when all places are full. However, if places are full and you are interested in the program, please contact Caroline Gauthier, who is in charge of the program, to put you on a cancellation list.
