LOJIQ - Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec would like to offer young people interested in history and comfortable with leading groups the opportunity to take part in a volunteer program with Les Francas de Seine-Maritime, in Dieppe, Normandy. This 3? month volunteer mandate runs from August 8 to November 12, 2022, at a rate of 25 hours per week.
Les Francas de Seine-Maritime is an organization that promotes access to quality leisure activities for all, and seeks to foster the development of active, committed citizenship among young people. In partnership with the town of Dieppe, the Association offers training courses for young adults wishing to acquire animation skills. In autumn 2022, to mark the 80th anniversary of Operation Jubilee, which saw the Allies land at Dieppe in August 1942, the Association aims to create a new dynamic between Dieppe and Quebec by welcoming young Quebecers to co-lead intercultural activities around the Jubilee festivities in Dieppe schools and leisure centers.
