Quebec Intergenerational Week

The next edition of Quebec Intergenerational Week will take place from May 21 to 27, 2023.

The mission of Quebec Intergenerational Week (QIW), coordinated by Intergénérations Québec, is to highlight and promote intergenerational exchanges, while inspiring the emergence of various initiatives across Quebec.

In May 2022, the Quebec National Assembly officially recognized the third week of May as Quebec Intergenerational Week! Mme Blais, Minister responsible for Seniors and Caregivers, addressed the Assembly to highlight the importance of intergenerational cooperation.’the campaign's aim of raising awareness and combating ageism and isolation.

Are you an organization, municipality or institution? Celebrate this unique week with us by organizing an activity that brings generations together!

Whether it's written or video correspondence between young and old, board games, friendship calls to isolated seniors by teenagers, an exhibition, a photo rally, a contest or an intergenerational podcast... Register your activity via our online form ! Please note that it must take place between May 21 and 27, 2023.

Your event will then be listed on our website: a programming page will compile all the activities organized in Quebec as part of the SQI.
