Working for Québec, more than a career!
With the evolution of the labor market, the public service has undertaken a thorough review of the way it staffs its jobs. A new selection process came into effect on February 21, 2022.
Since that date, jobs offered for recruitment and promotion have been filled following a selection process. The concept of a bank of qualified people has been eliminated; specific job offers for recruitment and promotion are now published.
With this new process, a citizen interested in a career in the public service has the opportunity to apply for a specific job that matches his or her interests and skills, rather than having his or her name entered in a bank of qualified candidates. This way, he or she no longer has to wait before being offered a job.
