About the position

As a Data and Technology Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of rigorous data practices and providing core IT support across The Depot. This role ensures quality data collection and management practices with a particular focus on data confidentiality, and involves extensive use of our database (Salesforce) and tools such as Excel or Google Sheets. The position also involves a good command of the software essential to the operation of the Depot (Google Suite, Salesforce, Jotform, Squarespace, Quickbooks, etc.) in order to facilitate their integration as required and ensure that staff and volunteers use them effectively. Finally, the analyst assesses the organization's IT needs, including recommending hardware or software, solving basic problems, helping the team to use data effectively and IT tools for administrative activities and programs.

The Data and Technology Analyst will report to the Director of Administration and work closely with the other Directors and all Depot programs.

The Data & Technology Analyst is responsible for maintaining strong data practices and providing basic IT support across The Depot. They oversee high-quality data collection and management with a focus on data privacy, working extensively with our database (Salesforce) and tools like Excel or Google Sheets. The role also requires developing a solid understanding of the software systems essential to The Depot's operations (Google Suite, Salesforce, Jotform, Square, Quickbooks, etc.) to help integrate them as needed and to ensure staff and volunteers use them confidently. In addition, the analyst assesses and responds to the organization's IT needs, including recommending hardware or software, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting the team in effectively using data and digital tools for both administrative and program activities.
The Data & Technology Analyst will report to the Director of Administration, and will work closely with other Directors and with all programs at The Depot.

create and maintain a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for all young people and their families
stakeholders. The organization's core values are empathy, transparency, fairness and collaboration,
inclusion and caring.

Job description
Under the supervision and guidance of MJO management, the outreach worker's mandate is to
reach young people aged between 12 and 25 who live, study or work in the borough
of Outremont to offer them a listening ear, advice, referrals, guidance and support.

Main tasks
● Ensure a significant and continuous presence in the environments frequented by young people.
● Identify vulnerable young people and their needs, in order to build trust and a climate conducive to intervention.

● Create links and work in partnership with local organizations, schools and businesses.
● Participate in meetings of various local and regional consultation bodies and work in collaboration with their members.
● Work closely with our current street youth worker and ensure complementary outreach activities.
● Work in collaboration with the MJO team, taking part in weekly team meetings, in
the organization's day-to-day operations and special activities.
● Ensure project follow-up (e.g. activity reports, accountability, annual reviews, etc.).
● Any other related tasks.
