Do you aspire to a career that matches your ambitions? Hydro-Québec encourages you to consider a career as a lineman or linemaness, and to enroll in the Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Line Construction. Erecting power and telecom lines at Center de formation de La Haute-Gaspésie, located in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.
To this end, Hydro-Québec will cover part of the moving and accommodation costs for the duration of the training, as well as the cost of obtaining a Class 3 driver's license (a hiring requirement for linemen and women). This offer is for up to 7,000 $.

To be eligible for the Future Lineworker Incentive Program, a person must :
- Have completed 3e secondary school
- Be 16 by September 2023.
- Hold a class 5 driver's licence or probationary licence.
- By April 2, 2023, register for the DEP in Electrical and Telecommunications Line Installation at the Centre de formation de La Haute-Gaspésie and be accepted for 2023 or 2024 (a physical test is required).
