Youth Open Mic Event

Jeunesses dévoilées

Theme: What does it mean to you to be young (i.e. child, teenager, young adult) OR what has it meant to you in the past?

Come and share poetry, music, humor, etc. in tribute to the young people in your lives and the young people we once were, who brought us to where we are today. Let us sing them lullabies in recognition of their hardships, and hymns that celebrate their magic.

This is a micro-open to all and a fundraising event to help the mental health program at Head & Hands invest in care packages/gift cards to meet the material needs of the young people who will be participating in our 2026 group programming (e.g. wellness workshops and support groups). This fundraiser will help us provide them with gift cards from essential stores (e.g. Pharmaprix and Provigo) and close next year's program with a community meal with the young participants in our activities.

Date and time: Friday, November 14, doors at 6 p.m., open mic: 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Where:  Head & Hands - 3465 Av. Benny, Montréal, QC H4B 2R9

Suggested donation: 10 $ on entry, by cash, card or interac transfer.

Free admission for young people aged 18 and under.

Join us on November 14 for this open mic evening and share or print the posters attached to this e-mail. with young people connected to your organization who could benefit from sharing their artistic creations in a community setting. We look forward to seeing you!
