LE PROGRAMME AMBASSADEUR JEUNESSE SE TERMINE
Le CJE NDG aimerait souligner la participation active de 19 jeunes du quartier de NDG au programme Ambassadeur jeunesse NDG cette année. Ces jeunes de niveau secondaire ont été initiés à la participation dans les lieux décisionnels de leur quartier écoles et ville ainsi que sur ce qu’est une empreinte écologique pour un individu et une OBNL. Ceux-ci ont participé à deux fins de semaines intensives de formations suivi de l’observation d’une rencontre de conseil d’administration d’un organisme du quartier NDG.
Pour terminer cette belle aventure une bourse d’étude sera remise à deux d’entre eux lors de Assemblé général annuel du CJE NDG qui aura lieu ce jeudi.

Cette formation offre plusieurs possibilités d’emploi dans les parcs municipaux, régionaux et nationaux, les centres récréotouristiques, les pourvoiries, les camps de vacances et les autres entreprises de plein air.

Théorie en ligne et apprentissage sur le terrain à Montréal, au Lac-Saint-Jean et à Charlevoix

Objectifs du programme d’étude
Développer les compétences nécessaires pour que l’élève puisse assurer l’entretien et la réparation des installations et des infrastructures, des équipements et des matériaux se trouvant sur un site.
Préparer l’élève à veiller à la propreté et à la sécurité des lieux.
Développer chez l’élève la responsabilité : d’accueillir la clientèle, d’assurer la qualité du service et de recevoir les commentaires, les demandes et les plaintes des clients durant leur séjour sur le site.

Abattage manuel sécuritaire
Secourisme en milieu de travail – CNESST
Certification pour la chasse avec une arme à feu
Carte de conducteur d’embarcation de plaisance
Santé et sécurité générale sur les chantiers de construction – ASP

The NDG Youth Ambassador program recruits high school students to participate in an initiation program to the decision-making in their neighborhood organization.
This program consists of two intensive weekends, an evening of virtual networking and participation as an observer at the board of directors of a local organization.
Participants will have the chance to win one of two scholarships worth $2,500. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation as well as a seasonal pass to La Ronde as a participation thank you gift.

Are you interested in exploring music as a form of self-expression and self-care?
Starting TUESDAY FEBRUARY 8TH, STAY will be hosting 4 weekly ZOOM workshops facilitated by Samm Reid called “Music For Healing”.
Music for Healing encourages freedom of expression through melodic exploration and songwriting to help participants actualize their experiences and turn their thoughts and feelings into art. Participants will learn creative tools such as journaling and poetry to cope with and understand their realities.
This program offers alternative healing mechanisms to help deal with trauma and cope with harsh realities, confusing emotions, acknowledgment of mental health challenges and self-doubt, awakening participants to their power of expression and guiding them through the process of creativity. It aims to instill self-worth and provide tools to turn experiences into art. The project allows participants to express themselves freely without judgment while having the opportunity to share their experiences with each other, promoting solidarity and collective healing while also offering creative tools which can be used throughout daily life to manage overall mental wellbeing.
These workshops will be held every Tuesday at 5pm via ZOOM for the month of February!

We are currently recruiting participants for a new entrepreneurial adventure in Munich, Germany!
This program aims to explore and initiate the entrepreneurial potential of young adults (18-30 years old) who want to start a business through an approach based on coaching, co-development and international exchange, more specifically in Germany. Since 2013, seven cohorts of young entrepreneurs have taken part.
