The CSMO-Auto is very proud to announce a new agreement with the CPMT* for the development of a professional standard for automobile damage estimators.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
The development of this professional standard will make it possible to highlight the essential competencies of the automobile damage estimator's trade, and more specifically to set up a "toolbox" for the estimator's work. Work-based learning program (WBLP), as well as a Workforce skills recognition (RCMO).
Both routes will lead to the award of a certificate of professional qualification (CQP) recognized by the Ministère du Travail, de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale (MTESS) and the automotive services industry.
Visit Work-based learning program will provide structured, on-the-job training in essential skills for workers with little or no experience in the trade. This apprenticeship will be made possible by rigorous coaching from an experienced estimator.
The development of this standard will also lead to a process of Recognition of workforce skills to certify experienced estimators who have mastered the essential skills.
