Madeleine started running French conversation workshops for our Je m’intègre en français program in 2010. Since the 1990s, she has held positions with the Quebec government’s Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion as well as at Édouard-Montpetit College, the Université Sainte-Anne in Nova Scotia and the Institut Français in Bucharest. In addition to her teaching degree, she completed her studies at the conservatory in theater and a master’s degree in creative writing. Both these experiences allowed her to develop an approach to teaching based on creativity and communication that focuses on building self-confidence and a pleasant environment to incite her students into expressing themselves more freely.
